television wont turn on...

tv wont come back on after being turned off on and off button flashes several times then nothing for 60 seconds until you push it again

0 Im having the same problem with my tv set! Ive tried cleaning out any dust/pet hair and still nothing, originally i was told it was the lamp but if it was the tv wouldnt come on or even try to at all and Ive been able to get mine to turn on twice since this problem started.
