um I have the lightweight clip on mp3 (Polaroid PM...

um I have the lightweight clip on mp3 (Polaroid PMP84) and when I think I have finished charging after a couple days and play it with my headphones, it PLAYS my music but in one ear it makes a weird corrupting sound and after 20 seconds the little red light on the side flashes and then shuts off. How do I fix this?
