1) The product (MX5100VR home DVD/VIDEO home cinema system) does not switch on. It has power since the eject system for removing/inserting DVD disc still works, but the power on/standby are all off, and the `ON' button both on the machine and remote handset does not make it start. This has happened twice before, but it came back on after several days on its own, something I couldn't explain. It has now been off for a week. 2) Picture from the DVD was also starting to freeze on accasions, and was accompanied by a scratchy sound, and sometimes followed by total failure to play, but the problem would resolve itself after the device is left off for a while. I guess I could use another basic/simple DVD player to solve this problem, and feed into the MX5100VR for the sound system through SCART 2 if the above problem (1) was solved, but if I could solve both it could be even better. Many thanks. Daniel
