3 i had to format the device after it was connected to my comp.next i clicked on the device from my computer then i created a new file for music.next i used my windows media player and created a untitled playlist, then sync playlist to device,now it has all the songs i put into that playlist on it and works fine.comment if this helped you solve your file sys err problem.

0 I loaded music onto my player, the 1gb slick mp3, and it all came up as unknown format, and then when I tried to remove it, and readd it, it locked up, so I can't put music on it now.

0 i know this sounds like a pain,but i had to format the device after it was connected to my computer and create a new music folder in the devices main folder, then create a new untitled playlist and sync it to that device.it loaded fine and plays great.hope this helps you,

0 I HAVE NO ******* IDEA my mp3 slick reads file sys err and i dont know what to do because h\that keeps on and stays there where re all my music was working fine and now it says file sys err when i turn it on and cant get into anythign:( ~ (slick mp3)
