my portable DVD player i just bought in nov just s...

my portable DVD player i just bought in nov just stopped working this player has not had a lot of use....... turns on screen comes on with sylvania screen saver, makes some chugging noises but wont start playing movie movie is turning, but not playing on the screen. is there a warrantee??
