Question About Sylvania MP3 Player SMPK8854B
Watching movies...

I've added 2 avi movies and couldn't watch either one - said file format error - they play fine on my computer - what do I need to do to watch movies?

5 When you convert the file to AVI format, you need to use a resolution of 320X240.

0 okay the reason why the player is saying format error is because the only video format that can be played on the player is avi it is a little difficult to put video on the player but it can be done! i recomend downloading a video thats already in avi from limewire etc but if you cant find it you can also dwonload wmv rm vob or dat mpeg mpg wont work once you have those downloaded save the video to your desktop open the converter and find the video dont save directly to your players file save it to the desktop (where it says save target file) then convert once done you should see the video on your desktop open the players video file from "my computer" and drag into the folder" it should work. also if you find yourself converting and it stops at 99% minimize and if you see the file on your desktop just go ahead and hit the "x" to close it dont hit stop i hope it woks like i said its hard but its possible if you want email me at t.mcglaughlin@hotmail.com or if you have a myspace add me at www.myspace.com/xxkillamanjaroxx

0 i meant to space dat from mpeg mpg. mpeg and mpg wont work at all but you must convert wmv rm vob of dat

0 you have to use the converter that is on the disk that was supplied with the unit. once you convert the files, they will work fine.

0 the videos on my touch screen are all set to .flv...you should try that
