Question About Sylvania MP3 Player smpk4038b
sound fades in and out randomly...

I work my mp3 player hard, up to 8 hours a day 5 days a week. After a year or so the sound has started to fade in and out at random times. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? Do I need to wipe it clean and reinstall the drivers? Or am I boned and have to buy a new one?
