Question About Sylvania MP3 Player SMPK2242
instructions on downloading...

I bought this for my son for christmas. I am now trying to download a childrens movie and I have no idea what I am doing. Please give me instructions on how to use this thing. I have to be able to explain how to use it to him. If I can't I will have to return this item for something more user friendly.

5 That really helps, and thank you. but does anyone know how to put pictures on it? i just got one for christmas and i cannot seem to figure this thing out!

3 It's a nice player. Got it for my daughter for xmas. The best way I've found is to put the music straight off your hard drive (...\My Music\...) and copy it to the player and into the music folder. For video, try using the Format Factory (FREE), you can get it from download.com. You want to select the output type as AVI and 640x480 as the screen resolution and use the 25 fps (frames per second). If you follow all this you should get a real nice movie (ie Disney size) down to about 300MB or smaller if you tweak the settings. Getting them below 125MB is easy. Hope this helps. It's a real nice video picture.

1 when you plug in the mp3 player select usb disc then you can just drag your photos to the pictures folder it should be removable drive G or F

1 I have Format Factory but everytime I convert to AVI, I'm using 320x240 (the screen's actual size), the player says theres an error opening the file when I try to play it. Please help.

0 My avi videos don't work. They're less than 20 seconds long, and they keep saying: 'File Open Failed!' I'm not a very technical person, so I need help figuring this out.
