5 I also used the converter supplied with the player and with several failed attempt's ( warnning file format error ) I thought there was something wrong with it so I returned it to the store, the same thing happend with the new one, so I really need help with this any help would be greatly appriciated.

4 Is it the convertor or the player that says file format error? I have had similar problems with my cell phone in that I've had to convert to one format and then to another format in order to play something. But then I've also had some problems with drm files that won't convert because the place I bought them went out of business.

1 you have to use the conversion software that came with player
