I have a new sylvania smp2002 mp3 player. I am really frustrated with it. I have ITunes on a mac running OSX 4.0. nothing I have downloaded with play on the unit. There is NO sound. Not even a faint hum like you get on electronics. Instruction sheet sound like it was written by someone who doesnt speak English. Doesn't say how to download. I have charged it for 2 days and the light is STILL on indicating it needs charging. Lousy piece of junk. Please give me some instructions on how to use this thing.

0 To get music on it.. at least mp3's, just coppy the files and paste... DO NOT OVER CHARGE IT PERHAPS U HAVE ALREADY AND THATS Y ITS BROKEN. you are correct the red light does stay on, but when the mp3player is charging the red light is BRIGHT. when its done the red light will dim. IT STILL STAYS ON THOUGH. So you have probably burned out the battery by leaving it plugged in for 2 days. Take it back and get a new one (if you have a reciept) I just bought one and I have had no problems, even reading the instructions by the retard at the factory. Someone should fire him.

0 There are 2 red lights on the unit. Make sure you have it switched on before you charge. When the unit is charging, BOTH of the red lights will be lit up brightly. When the unit is finished charging, one of the lights goes dim.
