I just got this mp3 player and tried to connect it to my computer so I can load music on it but the computer and mp3 player are not connecting for some reason. The screen on the mp3 player shows a computer with a cord coming from it but that is it when it is pluged into the computer and the computer does not recognize there is a device connected. What do I need to do?

5 If your running Vista, it has all the drivers installed. And you sure do not want to load the driver that was on the disc. If you did you may have caused this older driver which is for XP to corrupt the Vista driver. Do you have a USB High Speed Drive such as a PNY 2, 4,8 Gig? If you plug one these into your system does the system see it as a hard disk? If it doesn't you have the driver problem I just discussed.

5 The easiest way to fix this is delete the USB drives from Device Manager. Do a complete shutdown and then power up. Have your system disc in your DVD or CDR. It is going to try to load the bad driver again. So go back into the control panel, device manager and find the USB drive that has the yellow tringle on it. Open it up and click that you want to update the driver. Then point it to your Windows disk.
