When do you know the mp3 is fully charged ? Can you charge thru the usb port when the computer is off ?

5 It takes 3 hours to charge. To turn it on, flip the switch on the side to ON then press and hold the PLAY button till the unit comes come.

0 I know you can recharge the device while your computer is on through the USB port because it is drawing energy from my dad told me. However, I am only assuming that the battery is fully charged when you see the green all the way on the battery icon. But it seems that you don't get long lasting battery life!
