Question About Sylvania MP3 Player SMPK8854
4GB SYLVANIA VIDEO MP3 PLAYER SMPK8854B...

We need the manual instructions on how to download music and photos from the computer onto the MP3 player?? Please help and send the manual to my email at rlf6562@yahoo.com, thank you. Robin Forster

5 when u connect your device go to "My computer" icon and open "Removable disk (E:)" Make a new folder and name it how ever u want photos, music or anything. Go to your pictures and click on the left bottom of your mouse and copy the picture and paste it on the folder u want it.

4 Hi. The manual that comes with this unit is really useless and does not tell you anything. The easiest way to use this (that I found so far) is that you plug the unit into your pc and it becomes a 'flash' drive. You can copy your music to the folder named 'voice' and then photos can be put in the root directory and viewed under the photo icon at the main screen. The cd that came with the unit helps you convert files to the correct format for this unit. You can also cal 800-968-9853. I hope this helps.

2 Hello Heartsingles. I have found some things on line that may help. Please see my postings on November 11, 2008. The version B unit does not have all the features as the SMPK 8854. I returned mine because I did not feel the unit was well represented and it was difficult to use. Good luck.

1 Sharon, if your model is the same, please see the attached doucment link. I just found this on line. It should help. My unit did not come with this manual.

1 I don't think this version has that function. Please see the member provided link attached to the comment SMPK 8854 MP3 Manual Found. It may help even though it is not the same version of this unit. Thanks and good luck!

0 I love the mp3, but the manual i received with it doesn't tell me anything, nor how 2 dowlaod or use it. There needs to be more information if u would like people to buy your product. I need a manual I can easily understand, and start my mp3, instead of wasting time by doing this.

0 If I remember correctly, the CD is only for Windows 98 installation. With XP, just plug it in and you should see it as a 'removable disk' (see other comments above). My suggestion would be to return the unit. It has been modified for Sylvania from the original manufacture. You may want to call the 800 number for support (see threads above for more info). Good Luck!

0 I got this as a gift. After reading comments, I realized that the AVS4You program that I had downloaded last week for converting files for a work project also had VERY EASY audio conversion. (This program cost me $40/year, but you get a lot of great programs for converting data.) So, I made a copy of my iTunes library which is apparently MP4, used the AVS4U Audio converter to convert to MP3 and then moved those to the drive my player was plugged into. I'm thinking I may have to make sub files (still working on this) for easier organization since it doesn't seem to copy artist or genre. Worth it? Maybe not. Mine was a gift and it is always a challenge to return gifts. AVS4YOU.com

0 Dear heartbrokens!!!! I agree with all of you. The user manual is useless. I'm really mad about my product because i can't see my videos on the mp3. I had try 3 different programs to convert my videos to avi but it doesn't work. I looked for tips to convert my videos, but i'm wasting my time because nobody knows how to explain how to solve the problem step by step. I already looked on youtube and is worst than to looked on google. I like the mp3 and i won't return it because the price was too cheap in my country, but i still mad anyway. Somebody....please....help me!!!! The message that said "file format error" is veeeery annoying and i can't use the cd that came with the mp3 because my computer's cd room is broken....that's why i'm trying other programs.
