I had to buy a new adaptor but when I charged the battery with 12V/1.5A, it no longer works. I couldn't find an adaptor with 1.25A, hence the 1.5A. However, I can still run the player from the mains. Could the new charger have damaged the battery or is there a max. no. of times you can charge a battery and it's just a coincidence that the max was reached when I had to replace the charger? I can't discharge the battery as the green light comes on immediately when I try but but the battery still doesn't work.
