My MP3 MMP 9390 will not turn on. It was working ...

My MP3 MMP 9390 will not turn on. It was working then when I disconnected it from my pc the screen turned black. It will not turn on. If I connect to PC, PC does not recognize the device and 9390 remains dead. I got this device for Xmas so it is not old.
