radio is plugged in, just put 2 new AA batteries in, does not work. on the screen: picture of a battery with a diagonal line through it (that's why i replace the batteries) and in the upper right hand corner is, - : - - can't get any sound out of it at all. thanks

1 AA batteries do not work in the BMR100. To use the radio you must use a Makita battery or a AC Adaptor.
