installing the battery...

I tried to remove the cover on the back but it will not open. What am I doing wrong?

0 on the back of the player, is the battery cover, you will see the little grip area. slide the cover about 1/8" towards the usb connector end, and then you have to pull the cover off with your finger nail. After you do it a couple of times, it gets easier to remember. My son had to show me
