Question About Insignia Portable Stereo System NS-B2114
servicing boom box NS-B2114W...

I plugged the above product into a 220V socket and i found fumes issuing out of the box. On opening I found the input transormer is burnt, which i got rewound, and also a transistor B-764 has burst. Can any one provide me a circuit diagram for this model?

0 I have tried 5/32 and 4 mm Allen wrenches on the white plastic Allen screws located on the ends of the bracket holding the speaker covers on and neither worked. After removing all the other screws (phillips) I could find, these seem to be all that is holding it together. My daughter put two CDs in the player and I am trying to open it to get them out. Thanks for any help you can provide!
