1 I Bought an Emerson EMP312-1 Back in Late November 2008 (After Thanksgiving) At the time I was using Windows 98SE (A "reliable" older system) When I plugged it in the PC read the device,But their were no prompts. The PC showed that the device was there....OK! I dont have that "reliable" old PC....Now! The book said it would work with Windows Vista...mmmmmmm! I plugged it in and,go figure it shows the amount of MB on the player,But it's as if the player itself is a ghost file. It worked on the old 98SE system ,But not the brand spankin new Windows Vista. Now,I have read just a few of these complaints here,It seems to me that,Emerson Radio Corp. "WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" When your company Logo resides on any product,You represent it! You should make it "RIGHT" to customers who bought "YOUR" product! THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAY'S RIGHT!

0 i got one too, plugged it in to a Vista laptop and start using it immediately with no software or driver installation needed. used it with windows media player 11.

0 I have a newer version of the Media player so I can't go back to 11. But I have vista and nothing! I called the number in the back of my book and they were rude and unhelpful. When I asked for the number for the Emerson Corp, they hung up on me. Then when I got the number for Emerson, they said that even though it's their name on the product, they have nothing to do with this version! What a crock!!

0 i dont know what product number i have its from emerson it is balck can play music,viedo,and pictures and can record plz help!!!!!!
