Some of my Mp3 songs aren't recognized on my Coby ...

Some of my Mp3 songs aren't recognized on my Coby MP601-2G and are in an "unknown format," but all of my songs are in an Mp3 format. How can I get my "unknown format" Mp3s to become recognized like my other Mp3s?
