How come sometimes the Coby MP7052WG Mp3 Player sh...

How come sometimes the Coby MP7052WG Mp3 Player shows up when I plug it in a USB port on my MacBook Pro, and MOSTLY DOESN'T? WHAT IS THE TRICK I ASM MISSING HERE? I AIN'T NO BILLY GATES or STEVE JOBS.
