my mp3 dont work as soon as i unplug it from pc, i...

my mp3 dont work as soon as i unplug it from pc, it wont even display the screen. i put it in charging for 5 long hrs. when it is plugged i can turn on the screen and browse the music and the whole menu, moment i unplug it , the screen is dead.
