everytime i put a dvd in it says no disk but if i put a cd in it's fine please help. n the remote doenst work how can i get another on>

Product Problem: Accidental Format

I accidentally formatted my Memorex MMP8640A MP3 player. This erased all 803 of my songs. Previously, I was able to plug it in to my computer and open the folder and view the files, at which point I could simply copy/paste my songs into it and ta-da! songs. After the accidental format, I dont have that option anymore. How do I get my songs back onto my MP3 player?? Thanks!
