I bought the smp2002 sylvania 2 gig mp3 player from walgreens (Yeah walgreens lol) It was the last one there I love it only problem is I don't know if they sell car chargers for it I actually don't even know if they sell wallchargers I use the usb cord to charge it (I've also been able to use the ps2 & my old boost mobile phone charger to charge it to) So does anyone know if they sell carchargers/wallchargers for the item because it only came with 1 charger.

PS:(That pic listed is the only pic I can find when I type it in but the one I have is simular in style but looks way better they must've updated the look)

yes they do sell both car/dc charger and house/ ac charger. it will have the mini usb socket at one end and type of charging unit at other.

the only way i know of is through your cpu. but i did read something about a complete reset using a paper clip. kinda like setting older digital watches, but dont know where the hole for that is on player.

after downloading songs the first time then try download again the MP3 player does'nt accept more songs from the same file,why not?

I am having no problems using xp. all i do is create a zip file of songs, copy it to player, then extract from zip to player, then delete the zip file, and wahlah. in buisiness. (knock on wood)

i figured out how to down load to the mp3 player, but when i turn the mp3 player on after i disconnect from computer it wont come on. the music i downloaded to it is on there because it shows up in the file folder when i plug mp3 player into the computer. help!

u might try turning the switch off then back on. and check the players volume button to make sure it is not at 0. last but not least make sure u have the correct type of music files loaded onto the player.

I have a Sylvania SMP2002 mp3 player and when I plug it into my computer it doesn't recognize it. It is like it isn't there. Any suggestions?

i would try to connect it with it on then off and see what happens. if that doesn't work try running add hadware through control panel (assuming u r using XP OS). it might show up as a "usb generic mass storage device" in the "my computer" window.

I download alot of songs to the mp3 player, and I can see the music that was download when hooked up to the computer. Whenever I exercise with the mp3 player all the song that's show does not play. Why is that?

I'ev barely had this MP3 player about two months, and its already stopped working. I turned it on and it wouldn't come on, even after a full day's charging. I put it back into the computer, and it said I had no files on it. I'm not sure what to do.
