Notice of changes due to version upgrade
In order to provide our customers better features, we have made a provisional version upgrade to the LocationFree TV
software. Due to this upgrade, some sections of the Operating Instructions have changed. The specific changes to your
LocationFree TV due to this version upgrade are described in greater detail below.
x Changes to keyboard key names
In response to customer feedback, the “Close” key (LF-X1) or the “Exit” key (LF-X5) on the on-screen keyboard has been
renamed the “Enter” key, as shown below. The function of the key is not changed.
LF-X1/LF-X5
x Changes to NetAV setup
In consideration of the convenience of customers who use the NetAV function, we have added support for automatic router
configuration (UPnP).
As a result of this change, please replace the screenshot and operations described in step 4 on page 56 of the Operating
Instructions with those shown below.
4 Configure the necessary settings for each item and select [OK].
1 Select [Enable].
2 If necessary, change the port number of the NetAV server.
3
Select [Enable], if the settings for your router can be
automatically configured by UPnP (Universal Plug and Play).
4 Select [OK].
z Tips
When [OK] is selected, changes to the settings are updated.
If [Automatic Router Configuration (UPnP)] is enabled, the router
status is displayed after the settings are updated. Selecting [Update]
then displays the most recent router status.
For [Port number for the NetAV], enter a number between 5021 and
5999.
Some routers with UPnP functionality cannot be used until this
option is turned on from the router’s configuration menu. For more
details, refer to your router’s operating instructions.
Note
Configure the settings while the base station and monitor are connected
in Home-Wireless mode.
The [NetAV Settings] window reappears.
