help!

MY devices downloaded just fine and I was able to make a play list.. but then I went to sync it.. it stop about 5 songs in and it said the 4GB is full.. I've since deleted those 5 songs but it still says my memory is full and there is nothing on it.. what can I do .. please help.. thanks.. A.
