I have apparently "dimmed" the appearance of my Sony Dream Machine clock radio, How do I adjust the brightness back up?

0 Lots of people seem to be having this problem inc me. It dims and brightens but I cant work out what sequence of button pushing does it. None of the suggestions work esp not multiple pushing of snooze. Can anyone help?
