Alpine Car CD Player cdm-7857

cd player no sound

i got this deck used and when i hooked it up the sound from cd would only play thru rca's, not thru hi level. hooked up amps and worked fine... till i added second rca for sub. now no sound again.. radio works fine but no sound from cd..
