Garmin gps NAV 740

installing gps to windshield

The manual show that the pipe or tube that separates the gps and the suction cup is curved. I cannot bend the tube in order that it will fit on the windshield this sounds stupid but what am I doing wrong its suppose to be flexible correct?

    Ok I didn;t haven't strength to bend the flexible my helper did and it is installed.
