Indiglo Light Too Dim

Even at the highest setting, I can barely see the time at night. Can this be repaired?

I have the same problem. i opened up the clock to look at the mechanism and it looks like it cannot be changed to go brighter without breaking the safety piece that holds it at that particular level. would it be beneficial to do that ?

light too dim

I have the same problem. When I dismantled the clock the EL sheet that provides the indiglo back lighting was faulty. It only lit up about 10 of the sheet. I think there is definitely a manufacturing problem here. The sheet no. is "Elite 67" "M13445-EN 17/01". I have been trying to find a replacement part - but no luck so far.
