TV Turning Off!
When I turn the TV on it will turn off within 5 seconds. The vcr will make a sound the tv will shut off. What can I do to fix this problem

can't program channels
When tv is turned on get blue screen with ch 4 av. if i try to use channel up will go to 121 stereo with snowy screen. I've gone thru auto channel many times when I finish it shows 121 snowy screen. what's wrong?

recording issues
my Grandma got this VCR and try and try we cannot get the timer recording to work. we follow the manual and it seems like it turns on and records for about 5-10 seconds and then stops and the timer light flashes... sooo frustrating... and more so for an 81 yr old who just wants to tape her favorite …

power on-off problem
TV makes a snapping or crackling sound and turns off but the power indicator light stays on. Stays on a few secs then turns off again...won't stay on...

tv flashes green light
when we plug the tv up green light comes on for about 5 seconds and thens goes off and flashes 5 times picture will never come on keeps doing this over and over you can also hear a clicking in the back of the tv 7 to 10 times like it is trying to come on can anyone help?

picture is rolling
The picture rolls up and then the screem becomes smaller from the top down. After a few minutes it is back to normal.

delayed turn off

my dvd recorder will not power on; it was barely used and was always plugged into a surge protector. It worked great for about a year then quit working; I have put new batteries in the remote control, I have checked all connections and it will not power on; what should I do? thanks, James

VCR function problem
The vcr function on both ct202mw8 units we own do the same thing. When a VHS tape is inserted, whether the tab is there or not, record does not function. A commercial tape does the same thing.
