  can't figure out how to get cd to play
  Have this magnavox cd player, tape player, radio made in China in 1997. Used verylittle, so like new. Want to play CDs on it, cannot figure out HOW....

  Won't play
  It was manufactured in 1995 but is still in great shape. I seem to have misplaced the owner's manual. When I place a CD in and press play, it starts but stops shortly after and displays an E. This happens with a pre-recorded CD or from one bought from the store. Brand new batteries are in,(which I doubt what the problem is). This happened once before and I fixed it. The problem is, I haven't used it in quite a while and forgot what i did with the manual. If you could shed some light on the problem, I would appreciate it.

  Manual
  This CD player was manufactured in October of 1996. I found it after packing up a household. I don't know if the AZ number is the model number or not. I could not find a MODEL NO. It is a MAGNAVOX Bitcheck Concersion DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost). It has a 12 play mode. I've put 2 new AA batteries in it. It uses earphones. A CD goes around but no sound comes thru. I checked the MAGNAVOX website for an online manual but do not find this model. They probably don't manufacture it after all this years. Can someone help me out?
